About Ormane

Built on one question: what if a healthcare brand held itself to the standard a surgeon is held to on the morning of an operation.

Ormane did not begin with a business plan. It began with a question that one surgeon kept asking himself: why does the standard drop the moment a patient leaves the operating theater?

In surgery, there is no room for approximation. Every incision is measured. Every decision is documented. Every outcome is tracked. But outside the theater, healthcare often settles for less. Appointments run late without explanation. Diagnoses arrive without context. Follow-ups happen only if the patient remembers to call.

Ormane was founded in Bengaluru to close that gap. Not by adding more technology or more marketing, but by applying the same accountability that exists inside the operating room to every point of contact a patient has with us.

We call it The Surgeon's Standard. It is not a tagline. It is a discipline we hold ourselves to every day, in every department, with every patient.

Today, Ormane operates across five centers of excellence: Face, Hair, Skin, Smile, and Health@Home. Each is led by specialists who practice what they know best, supported by infrastructure built for precision, and bound by a shared belief that patients deserve the full truth and the full picture before any treatment begins.

Our milestones

2016

The Question

Dr. Arjun Mehta, a maxillofacial surgeon with fifteen years of practice, begins drafting what would become the founding document of Ormane. The central premise: surgical-grade accountability applied to every act of care.

2017

First Clinic Opens

Ormane opens its first clinic in Koramangala, Bengaluru, with three treatment rooms and a team of four. The focus is maxillofacial and facial aesthetic surgery.

2019

Expansion to Multi-Specialty

Hair restoration, dermatology, and dental care are added. Ormane becomes a multi-specialty clinic, each division led by its own specialist team while sharing a unified standard of practice.

2020

NABH Accreditation

Ormane receives NABH accreditation, validating its clinical protocols, patient safety measures, and quality management systems against national benchmarks.

2022

Health@Home Launched

The home and remote care division launches, bringing post-operative care, routine check-ups, and wellness monitoring directly to patients. The Surgeon's Standard now extends beyond clinic walls.

2023

10,000th Patient

Ormane crosses the milestone of 10,000 patients treated. The 97.8% satisfaction rating reflects a consistent, not accidental, standard of care.

2025

Research & Innovation Lab

The in-house research wing is established to develop proprietary treatment protocols and contribute to peer-reviewed clinical studies. Ormane begins publishing its outcomes data openly.

The Surgeon's Standard is not a metaphor. It is the literal application of operating-room discipline to every department, every role, and every interaction at Ormane.

In surgery, you do not guess. You do not rush. You do not skip steps. You do not assume the patient understands what you have not explained. You follow up because the outcome matters more than the procedure. Ormane applies these same non-negotiables to consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, billing, and aftercare.

It rests on five principles.

Principle 01

Listen before conclude

Every consultation begins with listening. Not a checklist. Not a quick scan. A thorough understanding of what brought you here, what you have already tried, and what outcome matters to you. We do not form opinions before we have heard the full picture.

Principle 02

Explain before decide

No treatment begins until you understand exactly what it involves, why we recommend it, what the alternatives are, what risks exist, and what the expected timeline looks like. You make the decision. We provide the clarity to make it well.

Principle 03

Recommend the minimum effective

We recommend the least invasive, most effective approach first. If a condition can be managed without a procedure, we will tell you so. If a procedure is necessary, we will explain why conservative options will not achieve the same result.

Principle 04

One team, not departments

When your care involves more than one specialty, our teams collaborate directly. Your maxillofacial surgeon and dermatologist do not operate in silos. They share notes, coordinate timelines, and present you with one unified plan.

Principle 05

Follow up as standard

The procedure is not the finish line. Post-treatment follow-up is built into every care plan, not offered as an afterthought. We track your recovery, check your progress, and remain available until the outcome is fully realized.

We would rather tell you that you do not need a procedure than sell you one you do not need.

The Surgeon's Standard

The people who set the standard at Ormane are practitioners first. Every member of our leadership team still sees patients, still operates, and still answers to the same protocols they ask their teams to follow.

Our accreditations are not decorations. They are commitments. Each one represents an external, independent verification that our protocols meet or exceed the standards they claim to uphold.

NABH Accredited

Since 2020

National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers. Validates our clinical governance, infection control, medication management, patient rights, and continuous quality improvement processes.

ISO 9001:2015

Since 2019

International standard for quality management systems. Certifies that our operational workflows, documentation practices, and service delivery meet globally recognized benchmarks for consistency and accountability.

NABL Certified Lab

Since 2021

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories. Our in-house diagnostics lab meets rigorous accuracy and reliability standards for every test we conduct, from blood panels to histopathology.

Accreditation is a beginning, not an achievement. We audit ourselves more frequently than any external body requires, because the standard we answer to is our own.

Our infrastructure is designed around one priority: enabling our clinicians to deliver precise, safe, and efficient care. Nothing exists here for show. Everything serves a clinical function.
