Ormane Hair

Hair Restoration, Regeneration & Transplant

About Ormane Hair

Hair loss is not one condition. It is dozens of conditions with different causes, different progressions, and different solutions. At Ormane Hair, we never recommend a transplant until we have ruled out every reversible cause. Because the right diagnosis saves you time, money, and disappointment.

Conditions We Treat

Each condition requires a different approach. We identify the cause before we recommend a path forward.

Male Pattern Baldness

Gradual thinning at temples and crown, driven by genetic and hormonal factors.

Female Hair Thinning

Diffuse thinning across the scalp, often linked to hormonal shifts or nutritional gaps.

Alopecia Areata

Patchy, autoimmune hair loss that can appear suddenly and unpredictably.

Receding Hairline

Progressive frontal hair recession that changes the frame of your face over time.

Telogen Effluvium

Sudden, stress-related hair shedding that overwhelms the normal growth cycle.

Scalp Conditions

Dandruff, psoriasis, folliculitis and other conditions that affect hair health at the root.

How We Treat

From regenerative therapies to surgical transplantation. Every treatment begins with a thorough diagnosis.

Individual follicle extraction and transplantation. Each graft is harvested one at a time from the donor area and placed precisely in the recipient area. No linear scar, no stitches.

What to Expect

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. You remain awake and comfortable throughout. We use magnified extraction tools for minimal trauma to surrounding tissue.

Recovery

Most patients return to desk work within 2-3 days. The transplanted area forms small crusts that resolve within 7-10 days. Initial shedding is normal and expected before new growth begins.

Duration 4-8 hours
Recovery 7-10 days
Anesthesia Local

Platelet-rich plasma injections to stimulate growth. Your own blood is drawn, processed to concentrate growth factors, and injected into the scalp at thinning areas.

What to Expect

A small blood sample is drawn, spun in a centrifuge, and the concentrated plasma is injected using fine needles. Mild discomfort during injection. Most sessions take under an hour.

Recovery

No downtime. You can return to normal activities the same day. Mild scalp tenderness may last 24-48 hours. We recommend avoiding vigorous exercise for 48 hours.

Duration 45 minutes
Recovery No downtime
Sessions 4-6 recommended

Growth Factor Concentrate therapy delivers a higher concentration of growth factors than standard PRP. The process isolates and activates specific proteins that stimulate hair follicle activity.

What to Expect

Similar to PRP, blood is drawn and processed using a specialized kit. The resulting concentrate is injected into the scalp. The procedure is well-tolerated with minimal discomfort.

Recovery

No downtime required. Resume your daily routine immediately. Some patients report mild redness at injection sites that resolves within hours.

Duration 30 minutes
Recovery No downtime
Sessions 3-4 recommended

Microinjections of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and co-enzymes directly into the scalp. Nourishes hair follicles and improves blood circulation to the scalp tissue.

What to Expect

Using a mesogun or fine needles, a customized cocktail of nutrients is delivered into the middle layer of the scalp skin. The composition is tailored based on your deficiency profile.

Recovery

No downtime. Mild redness or slight swelling at the injection site may occur and typically resolves within a few hours. Avoid washing your hair for 12 hours post-treatment.

Duration 30 minutes
Recovery No downtime
Sessions 6-10 recommended

Advanced regenerative treatment that uses stem cells derived from your own tissue to reactivate dormant hair follicles. A newer approach with promising clinical outcomes for diffuse thinning.

What to Expect

A small tissue sample is collected, processed in the lab to isolate stem cells, and then injected into the scalp. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with minimal discomfort.

Recovery

Mild swelling and tenderness at the treatment site for 1-2 days. Light activity is fine the next day. Full results typically visible between 3-6 months.

Duration 60 minutes
Recovery 1-2 days
Anesthesia Local

Cosmetic tattooing that creates the illusion of hair density. Tiny, layered dots of pigment replicate the appearance of natural hair follicles on the scalp surface.

What to Expect

Performed across 2-3 sessions, each lasting 2-3 hours. The practitioner uses specialized micro-needles and pigment matched to your natural hair colour. Topical numbing is applied for comfort.

Recovery

Avoid sweating and direct sun exposure for 3-5 days. Minor redness subsides within 48 hours. The pigment settles and lightens slightly over the first week, reaching its final shade by session two.

Duration 2-3 hours
Recovery 3-5 days
Sessions 2-3 sessions

How to Prepare

A few things that will help us make the most of your first consultation.

Bring any previous reports or scans — blood work, trichoscopy, biopsy results, anything relevant.
List current medications, including supplements, vitamins, and anything you have been taking for hair loss.
Note your symptoms and when they started. Timelines matter — sudden versus gradual loss leads to different diagnoses.
Arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. First-visit consultations run 30-45 minutes, so we want to use that time well.
Wear comfortable clothing. If we proceed with a trichoscopy or scalp examination, easy access to your head and neck helps.

Frequently Asked

Not everyone is. We assess donor area density, hair quality, age, and underlying causes before recommending transplantation. Sometimes medical therapy alone is sufficient. The consultation is designed to give you an honest assessment, not a sales pitch.
This depends on the area of loss, desired density, and donor availability. A typical session ranges from 1500 to 4000 grafts. We discuss this in detail during consultation, including realistic expectations for coverage and density.
Most patients notice reduced hair fall within 4-6 weeks and visible thickening by 3-4 months. We typically recommend 4-6 sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every 4-6 months.
The procedure is done under local anesthesia. You will not feel pain during the procedure. The initial anesthesia injection causes brief discomfort, after which the area is completely numb. Post-procedure discomfort is mild and manageable with over-the-counter medication.
Hormonal changes, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid conditions, stress, and genetic factors. PCOS, postpartum shifts, and iron deficiency are particularly common in Indian women. Our diagnostic workup identifies the specific cause before treatment, because treating the wrong cause wastes time and money.
Transplanted hairs are permanent because they come from the donor area which is genetically resistant to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone that causes pattern hair loss. The transplanted follicles retain this resistance in their new location. You will, however, need to maintain the non-transplanted hair through medical therapy if you want to prevent further thinning in those areas.

Your hair tells a story.
Let us help you write the next chapter.

Every consultation starts with listening. We hear what concerns you, examine what is happening, and only then recommend what makes sense.
