Ormane Face

Maxillofacial & Facial Aesthetic

Overview

The face is not a collection of independent parts. Your jaw, your airway, your skin, your bone structure — they work together. When one fails, the others compensate. At Ormane Face, we see the whole picture before we touch a single thing. Every consultation begins with a comprehensive assessment. Every treatment plan is explained before you decide.

How We Treat

Each procedure is explained clearly. We tell you what it involves, how long it takes, and what recovery looks like.

What to Expect

A small camera is inserted into the joint through a tiny incision near the ear. This allows us to diagnose and treat internal joint problems — adhesions, inflammation, displaced discs — without opening the joint fully. You will be under general anaesthesia throughout.

Recovery

Most patients return to normal activities within 1 to 2 weeks. A soft diet is recommended for the first week. Follow-up physiotherapy helps restore full jaw movement.

Duration 45 – 60 min
Recovery 1 – 2 weeks
Anaesthesia General

What to Expect

Corrective jaw surgery repositions the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both to improve bite alignment, breathing, and facial balance. Planning is done digitally using 3D imaging. Incisions are made inside the mouth, leaving no visible scars. Titanium plates hold the bones in their new position.

Recovery

Hospital stay of 1 to 2 days. Swelling peaks around day 3 and gradually resolves over 4 to 6 weeks. A liquid or soft diet is followed for 4 to 6 weeks. Full bone healing takes approximately 3 months.

Duration 2 – 4 hours
Recovery 4 – 6 weeks
Anaesthesia General

What to Expect

Reconstruction addresses bone fractures, soft tissue damage, or congenital deformities. The approach depends on the injury or condition — it may involve bone grafting, plating, soft tissue repair, or a combination. Each case is planned individually with CT imaging and, where appropriate, 3D-printed surgical guides.

Recovery

Recovery varies with the complexity of the procedure. Simple fracture repairs may heal in 2 to 3 weeks. Complex reconstructions can require 6 to 8 weeks of recovery and staged follow-up procedures over several months.

Duration Variable
Recovery 2 – 8 weeks
Anaesthesia General

What to Expect

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are injected to restore volume, reduce deep folds, or enhance facial contours. We use only FDA-approved products. The procedure is performed with topical anaesthesia. Results are visible immediately and typically last 12 to 18 months.

Recovery

Mild swelling or bruising may occur for 1 to 2 days. Most patients resume normal activities the same day. We schedule a review appointment at 2 weeks to assess the result.

Duration 30 – 45 min
Recovery 1 – 2 days
Anaesthesia Topical

What to Expect

Absorbable PDO threads are inserted beneath the skin using fine needles to lift and reposition sagging tissue. The threads dissolve over 6 to 8 months while stimulating collagen production. Results improve gradually and can last 12 to 24 months. Performed under local anaesthesia as an outpatient procedure.

Recovery

Some swelling and mild discomfort for 3 to 5 days. Avoid strenuous activity and wide mouth opening for 1 week. Most patients return to work within 2 to 3 days.

Duration 45 min
Recovery 3 – 5 days
Anaesthesia Local

What to Expect

Botulinum toxin is injected in precise doses to relax overactive muscles. Used therapeutically for TMJ-related muscle pain, bruxism, and chronic headaches, as well as for cosmetic purposes to reduce dynamic lines. Results appear within 3 to 7 days and last 3 to 4 months.

Recovery

No downtime. You can return to all normal activities immediately. Avoid lying flat or massaging the treated area for 4 hours after the procedure.

Duration 15 – 20 min
Recovery None
Anaesthesia None / Topical

Frequently Asked Questions

Initial healing takes 2 to 4 weeks. Full bone healing takes 6 to 8 weeks. We schedule regular follow-ups throughout.

When administered by a qualified maxillofacial surgeon, dermal fillers have an excellent safety profile. We use only FDA-approved products.

A 45 to 60 minute comprehensive assessment including clinical examination, imaging if needed, and a detailed discussion of findings and options.

Yes. We manage congenital conditions like cleft lip and palate with a staged, multidisciplinary approach from infancy through adolescence.
